How to Blend Text with Fabric Image in GIMP

Blending text with an image is a fantastic way to create a cohesive and visually appealing design. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to blend text seamlessly with a fabric image using GIMP. Step 1: Rotate the Fabric Image

1. Open your fabric image in GIMP.
2. Go to the top menu and select Image.
3. Hover over Transform, then choose Rotate 90 degrees clockwise to adjust the orientation of your fabric image.

Step 2: Add and Customize the Text

1. Select the Text Tool from the toolbar (shortcut: T).
2. Ensure that your foreground color is set to white.

5. To select all text, press Ctrl + A.

3. Change the layer mode of the duplicate fabric layer to LCH Lightness. This will blend the fabric texture with your text.

Step 4: Merge Layers and Adjust Exposure

1. Merge the duplicate fabric layer with the text layer by selecting the merge down icon.
2. To make the text more prominent, go to Colors > Exposure.
3. Increase the exposure until the text blends seamlessly with the fabric texture.
